1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Africa Minigrids Program (AMP) Digital Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this platform.

2. Description of Service

The AMP Digital Platform is a unified, open-source digital platform for monitoring performance, verifying impact, and accelerating rural electrification across the African continent. The platform is developed and maintained by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

3. User Accounts

Access to certain features of the platform requires a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate and complete.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You shall not use the platform to upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.

You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by UNDP and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The platform's source code is available under an open-source license.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal data.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. UNDP makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the platform's operation or the information, content, or materials included therein.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UNDP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

8. Modifications

UNDP reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
